T-Pain shared a video on his Instagram setting the record straight about his gun-related incident at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. The singer-rapper was detained after he tried to carry a gun through the security checkpoint. T-Pain, born Faheem Rashad Najm, explained in the video that the gun found in his body guard’s bag by the airport’s TSA was a mistake. He said in the video, “I got a bunch of strangers in my house… my security picks my sh*t [jewelry and guns] up to make sure nothing gets taken.. and puts it in his bag. We forgot it was in his bag, we get to the airport and that’s what happened.’
